Use screen capture

If you are an instructor who would like to live broadcast to your students follow these instructions:

  1. Go into your Canvas course site.
  2. Click on the Warpwire tool in the course tool menu.
  3. Click on the + button.
  4. Select Screen Capture from the drop down menu.
  5. Click on the Launch Warpwire Screen Capture button.
  6. Give the app permission to open. If you're using Chrome, you may need to download a plug-in before it works.
  7. Select whether you'll be sharing your Entire Screen or a Specific Window.
  8. Give the app permission to use audio.
  9. Select your audio source (preferably a headset if you have one). Click on the camera button (record) to begin recording.
  10. Complete your screen capture.
  11. Return to the Warpwire recording window and click on the camera button to stop recording.
  12. Enter a title for your recording and click on Save.
  13. The screen capture will be ready for your to play after it's finished processing.
