Insert a video into a discussion post

To embed a video in a Discussion post:

1. Navigate to the Canvas course site where the discussion is located.
2. Navigate to the Discussions tool.
3. Click on the topic where you would like to create your post.
4. Click on the Reply button at the top of the page.

5. When the rich-text editor opens, click on the Warpwire icon:

   

6. This will open a pop-up window showing the Warpwire library for the site.

7. If you haven't already uploaded the video, please follow the instructions for doing so.

8. Click on the video(s) you would like to embed in your post.

9. Click on the "Insert item" button at the bottom of the pop-up.
10. A thumbnail of the video will appear within your post. Note: You will not be able to play the video while editing the post. It will only appear as a thumbnail.
11. Click the Reply button.
12. You will able to see your post with the video embedded within it.
