Complete and Submit Assignments in Canvas

Your instructor may set up assignments for you to complete and submit online. To submit an assignment:

1. Click on the Assignments link in your Course Navigation Menu.
2. Click the name of the assignment you want to complete.
3. Read over any guidelines your instuctor has provided for the assignment.
4. Click on the Start Assignment button.
5. To upload a file, either drag a file from your computer into the file upload area or click on the Choose a file to upload link and select the file you want to submit. Note: There is a 500MB size limit for file uploads.
6. When you have finished, click on the checkbox beside I agree to the tool's End-User License Agreement. This assignment submission is my own, original work.
7. Click on the Submit Assignment button.
8. You will be returned to the assignment page. Submission details will display on the upper right hand side of the page.
