Use my tokensΒΆ

To use your tokens:

  1. Navigate to the Tokens app in your Canvas course.
  2. View your token balance as well as token categories and their associated costs. If a category is disabled, then you may not have enough tokens to cover the request.

  3. To make a request, click on the category of item you want to use your tokens on.

    • Enter some comments that will be helpful for your instructor to have when reviewing your request. If you're using tokens to miss a class, enter the date of the missed class. If you're using tokens on an assignment, include the name of the assignment you would like to use your tokens on.
    • Click on Submit.

  4. Click on Confirm.

  5. Click on Done.
  6. You will receive an email notification that your request to use tokens has been submitted.
  7. Your instructor will approve or deny your request, and you will be notified of their decision by email. You may also check the status of the request through the Tokens app.
