Pin a ThreadΒΆ

Pinning a thread places a thread at the top of the Threaded Discussion view for both instructors and students.

To pin a thread:

  1. Navigate to a threaded discussion link in your Canvas site.
  2. Click on the pushpin icon next to the thread you wish to pin.
  3. After a refresh, pinned threads will appear at the top of your view of Threaded Discussions.

To unpin a thread, click on the pushpin to the left of the pinned thread.
