Add/Edit/Delete a Quick Write Question

Adding a quick write question

To add a quick write question:

1. Navigate to the Quick Write app wherever you have installed it in your Canvas course.
2. Click on the Get Started button.
3. Click on the Add Question button.
4. Type the question you would like students to answer into the text box.
5. Click on the disk icon to save the question.
6. The question will appear in the list of questions and will be available to students to answer.

Editing a quick write question

To edit a quick write question:

1. Navigate to the Quick Write app wherever you have installed it in your Canvas course.
2. Click on the pencil icon next to the question you would like to edit.

3. Make your changes to the question text, then press the disk icon to save the changes.

   • Note: Students who have already answered the question will not be able to edit their responses. Consider adding a new quick write question if students need to respond again.

Deleting a quick write question

To delete a quick write question:

1. Navigate to the Quick Write app wherever you have installed it in your Canvas course.
2. Click on the trash can icon next to the question you would like to delete.
3. Click OK in the confirmation box to delete the question. Click Cancel to cancel.
