Add a Research Guide or Tutorial

To add a research guide or tutorial in a Canvas course, you will need to enable Library Resources in your Canvas course.

How to add Library Resources in your Canvas course

1. Navigate to your course.
2. Click on Settings in your Course Navigation Menu.
3. Click on Navigation.
4. Find Library Resources and click on the kabob (3 dots) and Enable.
5. Scroll to the bottom and click Save. The tool is now added in your Canvas course.

How to add a research guide or tutorial

1. Click on the Library Resources link in your Course Navigation Menu.
2. Click on the + Add Guide or Tutorial link.
3. Add a guide/tutorial title (e.g., CMM 100 Guide).
4. Paste in the resource URL (e.g., https://libguides.udayton.edu/cmm100 for guides or https://udayton.libwizard.com/f/tour for tutorials).
5. Click on Save.
6. A new link will be added to the Research Guides & Tutorials section of the page. Students will access the guide or tutorial by clicking on the link.
