Lock the Check-In AppΒΆ

You can temporarily (or permanently) prevent students from completing the check-in by locking responses.

To lock responses:

  1. Navigate to the Check-In app in your Canvas course.
  2. Click on the Settings link located on the right side of the page under the top menu bar.
  3. Check the box next to Lock Responses.
  4. Click on Save changes.

To unlock responses, follow the same steps, but uncheck the box next to Lock Responses and click on Save changes.

Return to the main Check-In page
